Role Overview
The Casual Academy Matchday Coordinator acts as the central point of contact on match days, ensuring that everything from player arrivals to spectator management is handled efficiently. This position involves detailed coordination with Academy Operations and Coaching staff to ensure that all match day activities are executed professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating match day operations for Leeds United’s Academy teams at the Thorp Arch Training Ground.
- Managing interactions with security, match day staff, visiting teams, and match officials.
- Overseeing the access and movements of players, staff, and spectators within designated areas.
- Enforcing the club’s health and safety, safeguarding, and welfare policies to ensure a safe environment for all attendees.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- FA Safeguarding Children Certificate and FA Welfare Officer Certificate are necessary for this role.
Experience
- A background in a football environment, particularly in a Category 1 Academy, is highly desirable.
- Experience in handling match day operations and familiarity with the Academy system and professional football culture.
